Fill in the online form

dental treatment consulation This will help you to keep in contact with the dental clinic and make sure that you are updated on any special offers, advancements, discounts and important information to help you along the way.

If you like, you can send us a quotation from another dental clinic, digital photograph of your smile, or digital x-ray using our separate dental contact form.

Read your personal email reply

Be sure to check your junk / spam email if you haven’t received a reply within 24hrs. We personally reply to all dental treatment email requests within 24hrs.

If you need any questions answering whatsoever, simply reply to Daniel by email, or feel free to call him on 00421 915 892 218. It’s important to us that you feel comfortable about all aspects of your dental treatment  and that you have all your questions answered before coming to our dental clinic.

Read your estimated quote

Once you’ve received your estimated dental treatment abroad quote and treatment plan you should now know: what’s involved, how much it’s going to cost, and how long your dental treatment abroad will take. With this information you can then decide if we’re the right dental clinic for you.

Remember that we have no hidden or extra costs involved. The only other price factors that you need to consider is your overnight accommodation if needed, and the prices of the cheap flights from the UK to Bratislava / Vienna.

Choose a suitable date

dental treatment abroad appointments In most cases, we’re able to treat new dental clients from the UK as soon as tomorrow, however there’s a list of date here that are already fully booked.

A good idea is to find a suitable date that fits you, check the prices of the flights online, and if it seems reasonable, then check it against our “fully booked” page.

Pick a suitable flight

The usual flight time from the UK to Bratislava / Vienna is around 2hrs.

The most popular airline used by our former UK patients is Ryanair.com which flies directly to Bratislava and flight prices range from £10 to £100 one way.

Try to avoid bank holidays, Christmas and July / August if you want to aim for cheaper airfare.

Choose your accommodation

Most of our UK patients opt for either a self-catering apartment in the town centre and close to the dental clinic. This works out the cheapest option if there’s two of you (£30 per night) which has the added benefit of no check out time.

If you’re travelling alone, then there’s a good bed and breakfast facility about 3 minutes walk from the clinic. However there’s also a full range of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels around Piestany spa. If you want to splash out a little, let us know and we’ll check if we can get you a special deal from this end.

All sorted!

Once you’ve got the steps above sorted out, then simply book the flights and send them to Daniel via email, together with your desired choice of accommodation and Daniel will take care of the rest.

You’ll receive a full confirmation of treatment email with practical information about your visit, where to eat out, the currency, culture, what to expect, and where you’ll be accommodated.

Get met at the airport

Philip – our resident driver originally from Manchester provides a free airport transfer for all of our UK patients to and from the dental clinic or to their accommodation if you arrive in the late evening.

The journey takes about 40 minutes in normal traffic and Philip will give you your patient welcome pack complete with a map of the town, useful phrases in Slovak, keys to your apartment, a local mobile phone and the time of your appointment with Dr. Marek.

If you arrive in the evening, Philip can show you where the local restaurants are, or take you to Tesco to pick up some food.

Have your free consultation

Although we already know what dental treatment you have opted for, Dr. Marek will take an up-to-date digital OPG x-ray (free of charge) to help him plan his dental treatment, and will run through the whole procedure with you, answering any last questions you may have about your dental treatment, and offering advice.

A final treatment plan and quotation is then made up by our receptionist whilst you have a cup of tea or coffee, watch TV or surf the internet using our free WI-FI or computer terminal.

Have your dental treatment

We are a very relaxed clinic, and to save multiple visits, we like to do as much work as possible in each session. Some dental treatment sessions in our clinic can last 2-3 hrs, however just let the dental team know if you need a break.

We use a digitally applied local anaesthetic for the majority of our dental care, creating a painless dental treatment experience. And if you’re a music fan, then please feel free to bring along your ipod, and fall asleep in the dental chair :-)

Pay for your dental treatment

After each session you’ll be presented with an updated payment sheet detailing the treatment you’ve had and it’s cost.

Payment is in £ English pounds (no Scottish notes please) although you can pay in € Euros if you prefer which is calculated at the national bank exchange rate of that given day. We also accept Visa and Mastercard or you can make an internet bank transfer directly in the clinic waiting room.

Go home with a smile

dental treatment abroad testimonials

Before you leave our clinic, we’ll give you advice on how to look after your new teeth. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we’ll ask you to fill in a short questionnaire before your leave, as well as possibly write an independent review of your dental treatment when you get home.

We’re sure that you’re friends and family will marvel at the dental work you had done abroad, so please send them on to us!

Aftercare

Your dental treatment with dental holiday is fully guaranteed, and in the unlikely case that you should ever have any problems whatsoever you can return and we’ll take a look and replace or repair if necessary, however you will have to pay for the flights and accommodation if needed.

Just make sure that you visit for the day once a year for a check-up and find a local dental hygienist that you visit every 6 months to clean up your smile and make sure that your new teeth last for many years to come.
