Are you confused about the cost of dental implants? So were we! That’s why we break it down into just 3 parts, with no hidden or extra cost involved, so that’s is easier for you to calculate and take away any fear of hidden add-ons.
When estimating the costs of having a dental implant abroad, you must always consider the 3 parts:
- dental implant (£397)
- implant abutment (£197) – a titanium or zircon post that slots in the top of the dental implant so that the crown, bridge or fixed denture can be joined to it.
- implant crown / bridgework or fixed denture attached (£297 per point)
In the UK, you may find that you are also charged for each and every x-ray, dental implant consultation, local anesthetic, temporary crowns, healing caps to cover the abutment screw hole when healing, tooth impressions, tooth fitting and the like. Be wary of this, and don’t get caught out. As for our dental clinic abroad, we have made sure that no hidden or extra costs are involved, no matter how many dental implants you choose – airport transfer, digital x-rays, healing caps, temporary crowns, dental work, expert consultation sessions, cups of tea and smiles are all included.
Remember: Apart from your dental treatment costs, don’t forget to add accommodation costs (around £30 per night) and cheap flight costs with Ryanair.com to Bratislava from the UK. Typically you will need an overnight stay on each visit, (you are of course welcome to stay longer if you wish) and 3 visits in total to complete your dental treatment abroad.
So the total cost is always how many dental implants and dental implant abutments are needed + the implant crowns, number of points on the bridgework or cost of the fixed denture.
Here’s a typical example to replace 2 missing teeth:
2 x £397 dental implants
2 x £197 dental implant abutments
2 x £297 implant crowns
= £1782
Another example to completely replace a whole jaw of teeth (lower or upper) you’ll need typically need 4-8 implants with a 12 point crown bridge across them. This is how it would be worked out:
4 x £397 dental implants
4 x £197 dental implant abutments
12 x £297 implant bridgework
= £5940
