Gina, a fitness instructor, saved over £3,500 by having dental work in Slovakia. She lives alone in Hereford, Herefordshire.  ‘After a routine check-up, my dentist told me that I needed four root fillings, three crowns, and replacement for two old fillings costing £5000. I knew I could get it cheaper abroad, so I started researching my options on the internet.
When I came across a dental clinic in Slovakia, charging just £1,500 for the lot, I booked in for three weeks later. As it’s a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, I knew I could expect good results.
The clinic booked my flights and helped organize a flat for just £20 per night. it took 6 hours, spread over three days, to “fix” my teeth. It went really smoothly, so in my spare time, I went sightseeing in the pretty village. I was so happy with the results that I went back for teeth whitening.
This time I was nervous, as I had heard that some treatment can damage the enamel, but my dentist assured me that it was safe. It took a hour and my teeth were temporarily sensitive afterwards, but this soon subsided.
Back home, everyone said my teeth looked great. The work is guaranteed for four years and I’ve saved a small fortune.
