Molars are the teeth at the back of the mouth adjacent to the bi-cuspids. The typical mouth has eight or twelve molars, depending if the third molars (wisdom teeth) have erupted. Molars are labelled upper right first molar, upper left first molar, LR first molar, UL first molar, UR second molar etc. Molars have four cuspals and are located in the posterior of the mouth.
