How much can I save when having dental implants & cosmetic dentistry abroad?

You can save approximately 50-70% on your dental treatment if you need dental implants abroad, crowns, bridges, veneers or dentures. We’ve created a couple of senario examples so you can calculate your costs.

Why do dental implants and cosmetic dentistry treatments cost less abroad?

In central Europe property costs much less and wages are also less than in western Europe. This means the cost of dental work, such as implants abroad, bridge and crown work, is half /one-third of western European prices. However, the quality of central European dental services is acknowledged as excellent all over Europe. This is why towns such as Budapest, Bratislava, Prague and Krakow are such popular destinations for dentistry abroad.

    • Hi
I am considering having full implants for top and bottom.
Not sure if 12 or 14 for each jaw.
Interested in ‘all on 4 or all on 6’.
Can you tell me the price of this please
      Kindest regards

    • Hi Lee, the semi-permanent bridgework immediately fitted after the implant placement session on visit 1 are acrylic. This is to ensure that you immediately got home with a confident, working mile for the next few months while the healing takes place. Then on visit 3 we place the final bridgework – this is of course made from full layered ceramic (usually ziconia).
      Does that help?

  1. If I require 3 dental implants at the front and top what happens in between treatments as 1 half tooth needs removing, and treatments take 2 or 3 visits. Do you offer dentures.

    Reply
    • Hi Andrew, in between times you’ll have temporary teeth there – we fit them on visit 1. The half a tooth would be removed or treated on visit 1 as well.
We replace dentures with fixed teeth, so no- we would never want to give a patient the uncomfortableness of something that now belongs in the dark ages. Dental implant supported crowns / bridges are the way forward. I hope that helps!

  2. Dear Koh, we very much focused on all brands of Straumann dental implants & some Ankylos dental implants, unfortunately we will not be using any different implant brand anytime soon.

  3. Hi I am thinking of having 2 inplants with one fales tooth on the end . I have a two week time frames can all this be done in the two weeks .

    • Dear Eileen, thank you for leaving a comment about the 2 dental implants that you need. Certainly, the implants can be placed within 2 weeks, and a temporary bridge placed during the healing time, which is around 3 months usually. Does that help?

  4. I would like a consultation before deciding on treatment. Ideally I would like all on 4 implants but this would require multiple tooth extraction. I have several gaps where teeth have been removed and also crowns and veneers which don’t match at the moment Could I have a consultation and treatment in the same visit?

    Reply
    • Hi Denise, consultations are always held before deciding on treatment in our clinic, however, to save an extra journey, many patients start treatment directly after the consultation. But there is no pressure to do so of course, and you are free to go back home to think about it if you like and return at a later stage. Does that help?

  5. I am considering having full implants for top and bottom. Can you tell me the cost if this and do you extract my remaining teeth on the first visit? Also are extractions included in the cost ?

    Thanks Lorraine

    • Hi Lorraine!
Yes extractions are included, and we can extract and replace the teeth immediately on the first visit, so you’ll not be without teeth at all, and in fact, go home after the first visit with a nice set of provisional teeth, so that you can get used to your new smile before we put the permanent arch of new teeth in a few months later when everything has healed up. Currently, we have just 3 types of pricing for this procedure depending on if you’re looking to replace 10,12 or 14 teeth per jaw. I’ll send you an email right now so that we can clarify this together so that you can make an informed decision on your new teeth.

  6. Hi Terri, the number of teeth required in a full jaw makeover is dependent on many factors, namely your age and the health of the jawbone around the back of your mouth.
Typically this ranges from 10 to 14 teeth per arch – but with a wider arch, more dental implants are needed in most cases to support it. However, the overall “feel” and “bite” is much more stable and satisfying with more teeth on the arch obviously, and helps with eating.

Would you perhaps be able to send me a photograph of your current teeth & some ideas of what you’re after so that I can put a more precise assessment together for you? I’ll email you right now.

  7. Hello Daniel,
A few years ago I attended the clinic for two dental implants, with which I was delighted. I can’t remember the actual year or exactly how long ago it was but I’m sure you will be able to find out from your records. Two or three years afterwards, I had to return to the clinic as the implants had become loose. I introduced a friend to the clinic and he decided to have an implant, so I joined him on his trip for treatment. My implants have become loose again. However, I understand this to be caused by radiotherapy treatment I have recently undergone because I had neck cancer. An NHS specialist has agreed to treat the loose implants but he needs to know a few things, to which I am hoping you are able to provide the answers. He needs to know: 1) The name of the implant system; 2) The screw head configuration and 3) The size and type of the implants and when they were placed.

I would be so grateful for this information. I am sure you are busy but you were so helpful and efficient during my treatment with you.

    Many thanks.

    Tom Noonan
